Born in Athens and studied architecture at the University of Patras, Greece (Diploma of Architecture, 2006) and the Graduate School of Design, Harvard University (Master in Architecture, 2009). He has worked with architecture firms in Berlin (Barkow Leibinger Architects), Zurich (Hosoya Schaefer Architects) and Athens (Yannis Aesopos Architecture). Since 2012 he runs an independent office in Athens encompassing a broad spectrum of projects for the city including master-plans, urban audits and research for publications, place-making strategies for deprived areas, temporary interventions in public spaces and strategies for city-government innovation programs. He is the co-founder of the urban initiative Traces of Commerce, a temporary laboratory in space that deals with the problem of vacant arcades within the pragmatic context of Athens.
