Founding partner of Drifting City, a collaborative based in Athens and Los Angeles working in Architecture, Media and Public Space. His work includes the concept & production of “Catch the Light”, a public space project and interactive art exhibit for the Athens Olympics; first prize in the architecture competition and the ongoing design of Kapnergati Square Area & Park in Kavala; residences in Greece and California; experimental public space installations; and the design of online projects and infoscapes. He has received several academic fellowships and awards, has participated in international exhibitions, has won prizes and mentions in architecture competitions, and a Webby Award. He organizes and participates in international workshops dealing with mapping and revitalizing Mediterranean dross-scapes and with contemporary Athens. An associate member of the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences, Petros studied Architecture and Comparative Literature at Columbia University (BA 1997) and received his MArch from Princeton University (2002).
