Elements of descriptive statistics. Random variables and their distributions. Central Limit Theorem. Confidence intervals (for the mean, proportion and variance). Hypothesis tests (for the mean and difference of two means). Correlation and linear regression.
In the weekly labs examples are worked with Mathematica and Matlab.
