Demetra Kotaki is an architect. She studied at the University of Patras, where she received her Diploma in Architecture in 2013. Her diploma thesis, “Oblivion | Memory | Interpretation: An Open-Air Museum in Askari, Thesprotia,” was selected as a finalist in the 2nd edition of European Awards for Architectural Heritage Intervention (AADIPA).

Her professional experience includes collaborations with architectural practices and participation in architectural competitions as well as in a research project held by University of Patras focusing on the identification, documentation, recording, enhancement, and protection of the historic settlement of Nafpaktos.

She has been involved in the organization and curation of exhibitions, including “Imagine the City: Patras 2014,” as well as in architectural and humanitarian design initiatives, such as “Core Relief,” the 1st International Humanitarian Design Workshop organized by the University of the Aegean. Her work has been presented and published on Greek and international architecture platforms.

In 2019, she founded Atelier AnaΔelta, a custom design studio based in Patras, developing her professional practice in the fields of design, digital fabrication, and prototyping. Demetra has hands-on experience with laser cutting and 3D printing technologies, CNC equipment, product design, and architectural model making.

Her interests lie in exploring the relationship between architectural design, digital fabrication, and contemporary manufacturing technologies, with particular emphasis on their application within the design and creative process.
