The course focuses on the study of rural transformation processes and the proposal of sustainable spatial management strategies. The workshop begins with a field trip to the Argolis Valley and an identification of rural problems, particularly with regard to climate change, resource management, the sustainability problems created by monoculture, and the impact these have on the farmers themselves. Students are asked to understand and spatially represent the issues they analyze and to propose strategies for addressing them at the local government level.
