Lectures and publications, many of these on the subject of residential housing and city transformation from the 1950s to the present.
Curator of the international Bauwelt Conferences since 2014:
* ‘Generation Stadt’ on urban density and housing (2014)
* ‘Zukunft Energiewende’ on climate change in the city (2015)
* ‘Produktive Stadt’ on a new comprehensive understanding of urban mixity (2016)

Responsible editor of the corresponding issues of Stadtbauwelt

Co-publisher of ‘Public Spheres’, a book about the current changes in public spaces in Europe taking the Europan competition as an example.
2008 - 2014: Co-author of the expert reports commissioned for the LIN office in Paris/Berlin regarding the International Urban Consultancy Group for the future Development of the Paris Metropolitan Area – ‘Grand Paris’.
Member of many architectural and urban development juries;
among others, juror in the ‘Grand Prix d’ Urbanisme’ 2005-2008,
the French award for urban planning;
member of several Europan juries (E8-2006 in Germany, E9-2008 in Spain, E10-2010 in France, E12-2014 in Austria, E14-2017 in Norway).
Member of the scientific committee of Europan Germany (since 1999).
Member of the Schelling-Price Committee, distributing the only international Price for Architectural Theory in Germany
