The University of Bologna, in partnership with the Universities of Rome, Venice and Santa Fé, is promoting some interesting architectural competitions open to students and young designers, aimed to open the academic world to interesting and actual topics of planning.

The project is coordinated by YAC –Young Architects Competitions- a group that, in 2013, organized three important architectural contests –Smart Harbor, Post Quake Visions, and Space to Culture- which involved many prestigious and international institutions, like the New York Department of City Planning, Shigeru Ban Architects, OMA, Dogma, The Plan Magazine, from the new edition Foster + Partners, 5+1 AA and many others.

Call for ideas for designers: "Wine Culture Center", aiming to transform the Valpolicella’s old winery into an architectural manifesto -a place for culture, training and hospitality- with 15.000 € cash prize for the designers worthy of it. This project represents for the students a concrete occasion to deal with stimulating and actual topics of planning.
