Dimitra Chondrogianni holds a diploma of Architect Engineer from the University of Patras (2013) and a Master of Science in Transportation Engineering and Project Management (2015). She obtained her Doctoral Diploma (2021), as a fellow of the State Scholarship Foundation (IKY), focusing on urban resilience to climate change & risk management in smart cities. She conducted her postdoctoral research on building energy refurbishment and sustainable buildings at the University of Patras. She has taught 2 undergraduate courses: Construction Project Management & Construction Site Organization at the Department of Civil Engineering of the University of Patras. As an Adjunct Professor of the Department of Architectural Engineering of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, he has taught 3 undergraduate courses: Design Studio 6: Urban Planning, Spatial Planning Issues & Research in Architecture.

Since 2015, she works as Researcher and Project Manager in European and Transnational projects on Sustainable Development, Urban planning, Smart cities, Intelligent systems, Transportation and Mobility. She works as a freelancer Architect and Transportation Engineer, conducting architectural and traffic studies.

She has received many distinctions, such as the 3rd prize at the Panhellenic Architectural Ideas Competition "Regeneration of Athens City Center”, the praise in the competition for the ESSYM Transport Award 2017 – 2018 and two academic fellowships by IKY (2018-2021) and by John S. Latsis Public Benefit Foundation (2007-2012). She has scientific publications in scientific journals and international conferences with judgement while she has presented research work on workshops and forums such as the MIT Stamp Workshop, the 3rd New York City DoT Seminar and the Delphi Economic forum. She is a reviewer in international journals and conferences, and she has successfully organized international conferences, architectural exhibitions and forums, such as the Dive in Blue Growth Conference, the Imagine the City: Patras 2014 Exhibition and the Patras, Smart City forum.
