"Plato's Academy the occasion ..."

Plato mentions in the Phaedrus: "Philosophy is the study of death." So the connection of the Plato’s Academy with the city of Athens by a road attached to burials also called Dimosio Sima, a public cemetery that connected the grove of the academy with the Dipylon of Kerameikos, continues this position.

In this study, the Dimosio Sima and the Academy are complementary, and their revelation aims in the creation of a system linking the ancient road to the city's modern network, the historical center with the park of the academy and the philosophical with the natural and the historical time, through a experientialconfabulation.
