An introductory 3-days Processing workshop for generating form using programming , ranging from elementary coding concepts to physics simulation concluding with an in-house 3D printed outcome.

This course is designed for everyone who is interested in gaining basic programming skills, with a focus on a morphogenetic physics simulation process. Through a three-day intensive course you are expected to gain basic and more advanced programming skills that will enable you to design your own physics-based generative systems. The course will initially take you through the fundamental concepts of the Processing open source programming language, which will allow you to use code to generate complex geometry. Further on, the course will focus on the concept of the particle-spring system, a physics-based simulation system that imitates a simple physical process that generates optimum structural forms.
