Urban planning is often viewed as abstract architecture on a grand scale. This incomplete consideration inevitably leads the planning of the public space and the city in general towards clumsy manipulations both with architectural and urban planning criteria.

"Urban Alphabet: Concepts and Forms in Urban Planning" seeks to provide resources, conceptual and design, for a better understanding of the urban phenomenon, the parameters that frame it and the most comprehensive planning of the urban landscape.
